Staff management

Each staff member has their own access, and each access has its limits

Your team scans cards without touching the programme settings. You know who credited what, and you cut off one person's access without changing everyone's password.

Accounts

One account per person

  1. Create the account

From the Staff tab, with a login of the person's own and the role that matches their job.

  2. Sign in to the scanner

The staff member opens the scanner on the till's tablet or phone, with their own credentials.

  3. Scan and credit

Only one gesture to learn: point at the card's QR code, then credit points or confirm a reward.

Getting started takes a few minutes. The details of the gesture at the till are on the loyalty card with QR code page.

Roles

Three roles, from the counter to the back office

Staff account roles and their rights
RoleWhat it can do
Collaborateur (team member)Scan cards, credit points, confirm a reward, view a customer profile
Responsable (manager)The whole management area: programme, rewards, campaigns, staff, shops
Administrateur (administrator)Like the manager, plus billing

A team member does not see the programme settings and cannot send a campaign. That is what lets you hand the scanner to a seasonal worker on their first day.

Traceability

Who credited what, and when

Each operation is recorded with the account that made it: points credited, reward confirmed, voucher used, balance correction. When a customer disputes their balance, or a figure surprises you, the history answers.

This history is never rewritten. A mistake is corrected with a new operation, and the first one stays visible.

Departures and security

Keep control of access

  • A staff member leaves: delete their account, and their scanner access is cut off immediately, including on the devices where they were signed in.
  • The operations they made stay in the history.
  • Inactive sessions close by themselves, which matters for a tablet left in the dining room.
  • Two-factor authentication by email is mandatory for administrator and manager accounts, and can be turned on for team members. Signing in with a passkey (fingerprint or face recognition) counts as such.
  • A lost phone? All of an account's devices sign out at once.

Your administrator account is not counted; managers and team members are. Beyond that, or with high seasonal turnover, a custom plan can be discussed. See AnkorCard pricing.

Questions about staff accounts

How do I give my staff access?

From the Staff tab, you create one account per person with their own login. Everyone signs in with their own access, which lets you see who credited what, and cut off one person's access without changing everyone's password.

Do my staff need training?

There is only one gesture to learn: open the scanner and aim at the customer's QR code. The screen then shows the customer's name, their balance and the button to credit. A few minutes are enough, and a new staff member cannot access your programme settings.

A staff member leaves the business: what should I do?

Delete their account from the Staff tab: their access to the scanner is cut off immediately, including on devices where they were already logged in. The operations they carried out stay in the history; they are part of your records.

Can I log in from several devices?

Yes, as many as needed: the till tablet, your phone, the office computer. You can log out all of an account's devices at any time, which is what to do if a phone is lost or stolen.

Is my access protected?

Yes. Two-factor authentication, a code sent by email in addition to the password, is mandatory for administrator and manager accounts, and you can also require it for your team members. You can also log in with a passkey (fingerprint or face recognition, no password), which already verifies your identity on the device. Inactive sessions close by themselves, which matters for a tablet left in the shop.

All the answers are in the frequently asked questions about the digital loyalty card.
