Retail

A loyalty card for shops where every basket is different

One customer buys a candle, the next a jacket. In a shop, counting visits is not enough: the card rewards what is spent, and lets you announce a collection or a private sale.

The trade

Fewer visits, baskets that vary

A home decor shop, a clothing shop or a concept store sees its customers come back a few weeks or a few months apart, for amounts that have nothing in common from one time to the next. A stamp card would reward buying a postcard as much as buying an armchair.

Loyalty there is built on taste: a customer comes back because they like what you choose. Letting them know when the new collection arrives matters as much as the reward.

The rule

With points per euro, the seller enters the receipt amount when crediting; points are rounded down to the nearest whole number. With cashback, they also enter the amount, and the card shows a kitty in euros that the customer spends on a next visit.

At the till

Next to your till, with no integration

AnkorCard does not plug into your till software. The scanner opens on a tablet or a phone, alongside: the seller scans the card, enters the amount, and it is recorded. Nothing to ask of your till provider to get started.

  • Each seller credits from their own account, with the Collaborateur (team member) role.
  • A product return or a mistake is corrected from the customer's profile, and the history keeps track.
  • Revenue and average basket entered at the scanner appear in the dashboard.

Messages

Announce a collection, open a private sale

Campaigns arrive on your customers' card and on their iPhone lock screen. With the Pro plan, customer levels and segments let you reserve a piece of news for those who spend the most.

Several shops

One card for all your addresses

With the Pro plan, up to three locations share the same card: a customer collects in one shop and uses their discount in another. All the addresses and their opening hours are shown on the back of the card. See the loyalty card for several locations.

Questions from shops

How do points per euro spent work?

You set how many points one euro is worth, and your staff member enters the amount of the receipt when crediting. A customer who spends 40 euros earns four times more than one who spends 10, which rewards large baskets. Points are rounded down to the whole number.

How does cashback work?

The customer gets back a share of what they spend in a pot in euros, shown on their card, and you choose the rate. At the till, your team deducts the amount of their choice, up to the balance, as soon as the pot reaches the minimum you have set (or from the first cent). The rate and the minimum are set from your account.

Does Ankor integrate with my till software?

No, there is no integration with till software today: the scanner works alongside, on a separate device or in another tab. That is also what lets you start without touching your existing setup or calling in your till provider.

Are points shared across all my locations?

Yes. A customer collects on a single card, whichever shop they visit, and can claim their reward in another one. It is generally what your customers expect from a brand, and it avoids having several cards for the same business.
