A loyalty card worthy of your salon
A facial, a waxing, a bottle of serum: amounts vary from one visit to the next. The card rewards what is spent, singles out your most loyal clients and carries your salon's image.

The trade
Treatments, products, and a relationship
A beauty salon sells two things that do not build loyalty in the same way: treatments, booked in advance and at a high price, and products, bought in passing or recommended at the end of an appointment. A stamp card would count a quick waxing as much as an hour-long treatment.
Image matters too. A dog-eared cardboard card does not look like a polished salon; a card with your logo, banner and colours, kept in the phone, does.
The rule
Points per euro, on treatments as well as products
With points per euro, the beautician enters the receipt amount when crediting: a treatment and a product bought the same day count together. Tiers are set accordingly, with a first reward within reach and a second, more desirable one.
Cashback is another option: the client gets back a percentage of her purchases as credit to spend. It is easy to read, and saves you choosing a single reward for clients with varied tastes.
Example
A beauty salon's points per euro
- €1 spent
- 1 point
- 200 points
- A free nail polish application
- 500 points
- A free facial
Example settings. You set the tiers and rewards yourself.
Levels
Recognise your most loyal clients
Levels come on top of points: a scale you define, which each client reaches according to her balance. They help you spot your best clients in the management area and, with the Pro plan, reserve a message for them: a sneak preview of a new range, a private evening, a priority slot.
| Level (example) | From | Possible use |
|---|---|---|
| Essential | 0 points | Everyone signed up |
| Privilege | 300 points | Invitation to new products |
| Prestige | 800 points | Exclusive message, birthday voucher |
Example settings. You name the levels and set the thresholds.
Goodwill gestures
The voucher, for special situations
A delay that pushed back an appointment, a client coming back after a problem: a voucher in her name is issued from her profile, with the expiry date of your choice. It appears on the back of her card, and an automatic reminder can go out a few days before it expires.
- A birthday voucher attached to the automatic message.
- A compensation voucher, handed over in person.
- A voucher for a targeted operation, reserved for one level.
Good to know
What AnkorCard does not handle
AnkorCard is neither a booking diary nor a manager of prepaid packages or treatment courses. The card works alongside those tools: it tracks points, rewards and vouchers, and lets you write to your clients.
To customise the card (logo, banner, colours, programme name), see the Apple Wallet loyalty card and the card simulator.
Questions from beauty salons
How do points per euro spent work?
You set how many points one euro is worth, and your staff member enters the amount of the receipt when crediting. A customer who spends 40 euros earns four times more than one who spends 10, which rewards large baskets. Points are rounded down to the whole number.
How does cashback work?
The customer gets back a share of what they spend in a pot in euros, shown on their card, and you choose the rate. At the till, your team deducts the amount of their choice, up to the balance, as soon as the pot reaches the minimum you have set (or from the first cent). The rate and the minimum are set from your account.
What is a voucher, and how does it differ from a reward?
A reward is a rule; a voucher is an item you give to someone. It is what you need for a goodwill gesture, compensation or a targeted promotion.
| Reward | Voucher | |
|---|---|---|
| What it is | A rule of the programme | An item given to a specific customer |
| How it arrives | The balance reaches a tier | You issue it from the customer's profile |
| Duration | As long as the rule exists | Until its expiry date, which you choose |
| Where the customer sees it | On the front of their card | On the back of their card, while it is active |
Can I customise my card?
Yes, completely: logo, banner, background colour, text colour, programme name, labels of the displayed fields and rewards. The card should look like your business, not like a template: it is what your customers will see dozens of times a month.
