A rhythm of a few weeks
What keeps a salon client is the relationship with the person who does their hair. The card does not replace it: it makes it visible, and gives you a way to get back in touch between two appointments. In the phone, it does not get lost from one haircut to the next, and the points do not expire.
Few stamps, or points on products
Ten stamps at one visit every six weeks means more than a year before the first reward. A tier at five or six visits stays within reach. In AnkorCard, the card shows as many boxes as your highest reward: a reward at 6 stamps, and the card shows six.
If you sell products (treatments, shampoos, accessories), points per euro reward those purchases, which the stamp card ignores. One rule per card: choose the one that best describes your revenue.
Rewards worth the wait
A reward that comes after several months can be more generous: a treatment, a blow-dry, a discount on the next colour. Avoid small symbolic gifts for such a distant tier.
The birthday, a natural appointment
The birthday message goes out automatically a few days before the date, and can carry a voucher in the client's name with an expiry date. The voucher appears on the back of the card and is confirmed from the scanner on the day of the appointment. It only concerns clients who gave their date of birth: keep that field active in your sign-up form.
The client who has not come back
In a salon, you know roughly when a regular should come back. The filter on the date of last visit brings up those who go past that delay. With the Pro plan, a campaign can be addressed to them alone: a short message, a reason to book again, and a voucher if you want to make a gesture.
One team, one history
Each stylist credits from their own account, on the reception tablet or from their phone. The history shows who credited what. AnkorCard does not handle bookings: it works alongside your diary, whatever it is.
Following the results
At such a slow rhythm, judge over three months rather than one: new sign-ups, clients who came back, rewards used. For putting it into practice, see the hair salon loyalty card page.
